Hahaha! I think the piece in Vienna is more of a comment on the European Central Bank’s action in the present financial crisis. But perhaps you will tell me it was taken prior to 2008?

Hello AutoReisen, My point is that you shouldn’t be renting our cars with such worn tryres in the first place. I don’t understand how you can say this is an exceptional case, as the second car which we were offered also had worn tyres.

Yes, you changed the vehicles, but why should we have to waste a morning of our holiday coming to your office to do this?

Can you pleae tell your customer service assistants that if a customer asks to pay in Euro versus UK pounds, that this request should be carried out.

Dear Mrs. Bryan,

We understand your complaints about the service and the state of cars we have offered you. We´d like you understand that this has been a really exceptional case as we have a great control about our vehicles all the time, but unfortunately we are not perfect and this kind of things can happen.

We are always under alert to fix any possible mistake during the hire period and this is what we exactly did with you. Even so we are taking a better and stronger security control measures in order to avoid cases like yours in the future.

We want to emphasize that we always tried to find a solution for you. We changed the vehicles twice and when the last day we received your last email, we replied you offering another car to go to the airport and we were calling you several times with no answer.

They are not just hollow words, our customers and their security are the most important and we work very hard to provide the highest quality service at the best price possible. This is not as easy as it sounds.

However, we must admit that you deserve a big apology.

Heather – I don’t think I’d go for a studio apartment again, I’d prefer to have a standard bed versus a sofabed; I’ve never found sofabeds to be very comfortable.

I think if choosing a serviced apartment or studio like this I’d go for one with 24 hr reception, due to the problems that you encountered. I’m lucky that I have my parents in London so never have to worry about the cost of accommodation here.
