Our walking holiday in Mallorca with Inntravel
Written by Karen Bryan
In October 2010 my husband Demetrius and I took walking holiday in Mallorca, courtesy of Inntravel, to sample their “Citrus Groves and Dramatic Coast” itinerary. Inntravel specialise in self guided walking holidays, where you go at your own pace following their detailed walk notes.
We were based in Soller in the north west of this Spanish island. It was a single centre self guided walking holiday. This is a great option for couples where one person is keener on walking. As my husband Demetrius is much sportier than me, he tackled two of the moderate walks Cuber to Soller and The Circuit to the SW of Soller, while we did the easier Soller to Fornalutx Circuit together.
We also spent some time in the village on Deia, where I admired the religious street art and we walked down to the coast at Cala de Deia.

We split our six night stay in Soller between two different hotels. Our first three nights were spent at Ca’l Bisbe, which dates from the early 19th century and was formerly the residence of a bishop.

The following three nights were spent at Ca’s Curial, a 4 star family run agroturismo which is surrounded by orange and lemon trees.

The inntravel walking holiday in Mallorca worked well for us, as we were able to spend some time together and some time doing our own thing.
