Best Places to Eat & Drink in Vienna
Andy recommends that you sample some Topfen (cream cheese) Strudel at Cafe Aida. Kimberley suggests that you slow down and enjoy Vienna’s cafe culture.

Kimberley enjoyed her visit to the restaurant in the Palmenhaus in the Burggarten and suggests that you sample the Weinerschnitzel at Figlmuller. If you’re after traditional Viennese fare the Reinhaler Gasthaus is the place to head, I ate pork and dumplings there.

Best Vienna Day Trips
Although there are so many things to do in Vienna, you might want to venture further afield on a day trip from Vienna.
Amanda visited the Marchegg Stork Sanctuary, a Worldwide Fund for Nature project, during breeding season and saw plenty of chicks in the nests.

Marcus made the trip to Grinzing, just north of Vienna to enjoy some local wine in a traditional heurigen (wine tavern) and some great views over Vienna.
