Where in Europe would you rather be RIGHT NOW?
Written by sian

Without sounding like an annoying smug blogger, I’m off to Kenya tomorrow. (Yeah, it’s hard to type that without sounding smug). I’m super excited and it’s got my friends talking about where they’d like to go on holiday next. It’s Friday afternoon and I’m guessing half of you are imagining where you’d rather be right now, instead of being stuck at your desk pretending to work. Don’t worry, your boss probably can’t see you.
So where would you rather be right now? Would a break in Paris be your idea of a dream trip? A beach holiday in Spain? What about the valleys in Austria? Dancing in Ibiza? Would you go somewhere you’ve been before, or try somewhere completely different? Who would you go with?
Or are you really quite happy where you are? There’s a lot to be said for the English countryside. Imagine you could go anywhere in Europe, right this second (you don’t even have to finish the working day) where would you go? Tell us in the comments and get everyone dreaming on a Friday! You might even be inspired to book that holiday.

Sian – I’m happy being in sunny Berwick upon Tweed on the coast of north east England, enjoying watching bits of Wimbledon. It’d be even better if I didn’t need to work too.
It’s raining outside the Dohop.com offices right now, so Reykjavik is not the best place in Europe right now.
I guess I’d go to a good bistro in sunny Portugal and watch the game against Brazil, and then relax on the beach, cocktail in hand. Perhaps I’ll use the services of the company I work for and find a cheap ticket to Lisbon…
I’m in Dublin right now, but I would love to be in Berlin.
Johann – I’ve never been to Portugal, so would also love to visit Lisbon, I’ve heard a lot of positive things about it. Have you had any pleasant Summer weather in Iceland, i’s been pretty good so far in the UK after a long dismal cold Winter and Spring. I was in Iceland in October last year and thought it was very beautiful.
Deborah – I really like Dublin, whereas I just didn’t take to Berlin during my one visit there.
I’d go somewhere north to experience the super-long days at this time of year! (I guess I’d check the weather report to decide exactly where!)
London this weekend in the sun. Head to Primrose Hill and just relax and enjoy the sight. In fact what am I doing indoors now!
CN Heidelberg – It’s light until around 11pm in Scotland but the days must be even longer in Scandinavia.
Norm – Just heard on Wimbledon that it’s 27 degrees celsius there and more good weather forecast for next week. In the coast in NE England it’s cooler with a stiff breeze.
