Cycling through Lisse Tulips Fields – A Photo Tour

The name Holland is synonymous with "tulips" in the spring, and when you think of tulips, Keukenhof gardens come to mind. But this year, we decided to do things differently and instead opted for a cycling tour amid the tulips fields in Lisse. It turned out to be an awesome experience.
We started out with renting bikes at the Keukenhof entrance. We were then given a map which showed the area to be covered around Lisse. It is about 4 kms one way and the entire tour would take us around 1 to 1.5 hours.
Serene and beautiful - the pathways presented to us these lovely bright yellow tulips in various shades.
It was time then for the silky pinks and reds.
I just love the magenta-yellow combo!
Lovely Dutch houses with small, well maintained tulip gardens enroute!
This one was like a huge field with a rainbow of colours. We simply wished the tour wouldn't end.
Oranges to end the tour of one of the most picturesque places I have ever been to yet!
What a beautiful idea! So many colors. God its raining here (West Coast, USA) so much that seeing clear skies and beautiful flowers is literally amazing.
