I’m living in Edinburgh right now, and darkness descends these days at 16:00. So, I’m sure to get up early and get outside one way or another– rain or shine. Museums and cathedrals certainly pass the time well, particularly in the UK, where many are free.

I’m all about the cafes when the weather is bad! I was in Vienna during March one year and tried tons of Sacher tortes. :) Museums are also a good rainy day activity.

This year autumn has arrived a bit too early. In Italy (centre-south) usually till the end of October is plain summer, but this year mid-September storms started and never finished!
It was a bit of a shock, but when you get used you’ll find plenty of other activities. Great tips on your post!
