		<description>Thanks for sharing this, Heather -- Though it&#039;s not a surprise, I&#039;d never done any research to learn when other countries honored veterans. I&#039;m sure they&#039;re remembered everywhere, because so many souls have been lost to war. Appreciate the education.</description>

Remembrance day is a highly celebrated day in Canada. My neighbor and friend who was a pilot in world war II (he&#039;s 85 now) did a Poppy tour last year and was very happy with it, exactly because of it&#039;s Pilgrimage appeal you write about.</description>
