		<description>I, too, was awesomely surprised by that region when I was there with my family a few years back.  The English-Scottish border has so much history!

I&#039;m a fantasy novel/mythology nerd, so I was pretty excited to see Hadrian&#039;s wall--it certainly didn&#039;t disappoint me.

Thanks for the post--I checked out Maiden Voyage, and it&#039;s a great blog!</description>
