Amanda Kendle recently wrote about the Tulips everywhere in the Keukenhof Gardens for the Europe a la Carte Blog. However after my visit at the end of April 2009 to the formal garden at Cragside House, near Rothbury in Northumberland, I have to say, Keukenhof, it’s not just quantity that counts, you’ve been out tuliped by Cragside for the sheer beauty, variety and setting of the tulips.
