Introducing Marcus Cederstrom, the latest member of the Europe a la Carte blogging teamI’d like to introduce you to Marcus Cederstron, the most recent addition to the Europe la Carte blogging team. Marcus will be writing a post on Wednesdays. Below is his short bio.

“I was born in Sweden and moved to the US just before my 6th birthday. I grew up in the United States eventually graduating from the University of Oregon. After graduation and about 17 years in the US I made the decision to move back to Sweden. I have been living in Stockholm since the summer of 2007.

Since graduation I have traveled throughout eastern Australia as well as in Sweden and Europe. My most recent trips have been to Poland and Greece where I went scuba diving for the first time since being certified.”

  1. Welcome Marcus! Looking forward to hearing about some of your travels. But as a girl from Perth (Australia), I have to ask you why you didn’t make it to the beautiful *west* coast of Oz as well?!!

  2. Hello Marcus. Look forward to seeing what you have to say!

  3. @Amanda – I’m going to blame it on the size of Australia, my lack of time, and the fact that the car that was taking me through Australia broke down one too many times to even attempt to get to Perth.

    @SLV – Thanks! I’m excited to start!

  4. Very fair reasons, Marcus! And the last thing you want to try to do is drive across Oz in an unreliable car. You’ll just have to visit the west coast sometime in the future – I’d say you’re saving the best until last!

    It is definitely on the list. Hopefully minus the unreliable car.
