James, good point. I am ambivalent about Ryanair, they do offer cheap flights and are very punctual and they are a business wanting to make a profit so obviously they want to minimise costs and maximise revenue. It’s just that their attitude toward customers seems so hostile.

At the same time that Ryanair put up these fees Ryanair were reducing routes from Dublin, blaming the move on the Government’s new airport tax. Seems Ryanair think it’s ok to charge high fees but not the airports.

Thanks for your comment, Car. Yes it’s an increase of almost 20%. Ryanair seem to just keep putting up their “additional” charges which certainly increase the cost of that cheap flight unless you pay ny Electron and take no hold luggage.
