£1 National Express UK coach tickets

National Express coaches are offering 40,000 £1 “Fun Fares“ on their UK inter city coach routes. I had a quick look at the offer destination route list and journeys such as Bristol to London, London to Chester, Birmingham to Glasgow and Glasgow to Manchester were included.

This price is only available for online bookings. There is a 50p booking charge but that still means you can book a return ticket for only £2.50.
Let me know if you manage to book the £1 for any journeys.
I travelled with National Express on their Funfares deal recently from Bristol to London. It was more than the £1 bargain but still only around £8 each way which is way cheaper than the train & not far different to the cost of petrol.
Heather thanks for letting me know about your Fun Fare from Bristol to London. I haven’t travelled by coach for some time but some pretty long sleepless night coach trips from Scotland to London are indelibly ingrained in my teenage memories.
When I’ve travelled to London recently I’vev managed to find reasonably priced rail tickets.
I do wonder how coaches can keep to a timetable with all the congestion in cities and motorways.
