I admit we kind of zipped through Bled to get to Lake Bohinj further up the road. There's no fairy tale castle in Bohinj like there is in Bled, but it's a bit less touristed - and it served as a perfect jumping off point for hiking in Triglav National Park. Bled did look lovely, though - and certainly worth of a visit. Overall, that corner of Slovenia is just gorgeous. And since I moved to Canada I neglected Europe entirely - my yearly visit back home is too short to branch out too far from my family. But you got me thinking... Thank you!
