Yes, I've booked hotels for a wrong day before, but never for a wrong YEAR! This was the ultimate defeat for someone like me who suffers from a major case of OCD and reconfirms everything five times in advance. Karen, yes it did start in Morocco. Actually no, it started from that super vile food that Royal Air Morroc was serving. I had to go to Casablanca and Marrakesh for a conference and I thought to myself "What can possibly go wrong? It's only 5 days." Yeah, right.... ;) I'm more or less back to normal now. Hi guys!

Did the upset stomach start in Morocco? We had a one week holiday in Morocco and I could hardly leave the hotel because I had to stay near a toilet. Two of our friends who were very seasoned travellers also had the same problem. Anna, I’m amazed that I’ve never booked a hotel for that wrong day, it’s pretty easy to get muddled up.

I hope things picked up from there... ...and you had me laughing with your description of the showers. When I traveled through Italy 8 months pregnant there were a few that I could barely fit in, and once I remember having to shower with the door open!
