I’m not in the business of recommending dentists abroad over dentists at home, far from it, but there are now plenty who have local clinics in the UK and Ireland, and do the major treatment in their clinic abroad, typically Hungary or Poland.

This means that the dreaded “what happens if something goes wrong” can be solved with a trip to their clinic at home. Not all clinics offer this of course, but it is a growing trend seeing as it is the biggest concern anyone thinking of travelling has.

Jean, the transport back to a dentist in eastern Europe from the UK would be a major consideration if you had any problems which required further dental attention. Yes I did like the photo although of course eating sweet items like biscuits is exactly why I’ve spent so much time in the dentist’s chair.

Anna if your own dentist can recommend a specific dentist or dental clinic in Estonia I think that is reassuring.

My own dentist here in Sweden recommends dentists in Estonia. I asked about a certain procedure and how much it would cost, and he simply said “Estonia, 1/3 of what you’d pay here, quality just as good. And you can buy cheap booze, too.”
The man has a point.

Trying the dentist abroad still seems a bit risky. If any follow-up operations, have to take the transportation and time into consideration. P.S. The picture is so cute.
