Europe a la Carte blog being read from Mongolia to Chile

Written by Karen Bryan

I recently added a Feedjit live traffic feed widget to the side bar of the blog which shows the geographical location of blog readers. I was amazed to see that the blog had been read today in Mongolia (perhaps Genghis Khan is an avid fan), as well as Chile, Rwanda, Brazil, Thailand and Malaysia.

It’s free to add a Feedjit widget to your blog or website, you don’t even have to register. I think it’s fun addition to your blog or website. What do you think?

  1. Yes its an interesting widget. Thankfully the geographic precision is only within about 20-30 miles where I’m located (or more accurately said, where my ISP is located). I like seeing what sites people are coming in on.

  2. Elliot the geographic precision is way out in my case as it says I am from Glasgow in Scotland, when in fact I am in Berwick upon Tweed in the north east of England, 100 miles from Glasgow. However it is a good thing that the location is not too exact for user privacy.
