I'm reassured to hear that you think I've made the right decision, Darren, as it has taken a lot of soul searching to reach this decision. I did watch a video by Darren of problogging and he spoke about multi author blogs being a major trend. But really my decision has been prompted by my own time and knowledge limitations and acceptance that I can't write about everything of interest to my readers in Europe.

I also believe that there is a lot of good travel content out there but it can be hard to find, so if I can aggregate content about getting off the beaten track in Europe on my blog, this will make it a more useful resource for readers looking for information about this type of travel.

Thanks for pointing out the issue of the blog not being a separate entity, that's a tricky one, as I did start the blog as a way of marketing my travel business but the blog has been so successful (and time consuming) that I have rather neglected the rest of the site.

Karen, I think you have made the right decision.

Group travel blogs seem to be the ones most successful, and I've been doing a bit of research on the subject, and I will be sharing this soon. The only problem you may have is if in 12 months time someone wants to come in and buy the blog, it's attached to your business.

Just something to think about! :)
