Sunshine.co.uk, the UK’s low cost travel agent, offers cheap holidays and hotels. They’re a division of Hays Travel and members of ABTA. I had a look at the site and there were plenty of holidays from around £150 for flights and accommodation. Their prices include all taxes and supplements but not transfers.
I did a few searches on the site and found it straightforward to use. If you’re looking for a cheap break in the sun, it’s a useful resource.
I’ve used cheap package holidays as a base for day trips by hire car. Car hire in Spain often costs less than £100 a week. If you pay for transfers they can be £20 - £30 per person so car hire is a good deal if there are at least 2 travellers. Then you have the freedom to explore the region, get off the beaten track and get a more authentic experience than sitting by the pool with other tourists.
