We stopped at the northern shores of Coniston Water yesterday evening to be dazzled by the peachy pink dusk. There was a rain shower just as the sun was setting and the lake took on a distinctly peachy hue, partly due to the reflection of the red branches of the silver birch trees at the lake side.

Amazing red light! Wow…Stunning photographs.
It was an amazing light, Emily. I often find that the best colours are after rain.
