I visited Gothenburg in December three years ago and one of the highlights was my visit to the Liseberg Christmas market.
Liseberg Christmas market
I thought that the Liseberg market was low key and tasteful. All the three million fairy lights were white. There was a lovely family orientated atmosphere.
There’s loads to do and see in Gothenburg even in the middle of Winter and kids will love the Universeum a science discovery centre.
There are many other Christmas markets in Europe such as Strasbourg, Berlin and Copenhagen and AlphaRooms.com have some great accommodation offers.
