Lubeck, Germany - ideal short break destination

Welcome to my blog, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I recommend Lubeck, in northern Germany, as a short break destination. It’s a very attractive Hanseatic city, encirled by a canal and a river. It’s also close to the seaside at Travemunde. There are several attractions for kids such as the puppet museum. You can read my guide to Lubeck to find out about there is to do and see.

The traditional Christmas market and craft fairs run from the 26 November 2007.

Lubeck is used as the airport for Hamburg by the low cost airlines Jet2 and Ryanair and you can find return flights from the UK from as little as £40 return. Remember to look at some other hotel booking sites such as Venere or Laterooms as the accommodation featured on the websites of the low cost airlines are often more expensive than on other sites.
