Travelodge price increase but doubling of available rooms

I noticed this week that my favourite budget accommodation option Travelodge has increased the price of its Saver rooms from £26 to £29, an increase of around 10%. While I’ve never a fan of price increases this one could have a silver lining as they have doubled the number of rooms available on this promotion over the next 12 months from 1 to 2 million. This should greatly increase your chances of getting the promotional rate room where and when you want it. Let me know if you think there is more choice of dates and locations now.
