15 minutes late is on time?

Try telling your boss that you are actually on time, even if you are 15 minutes late for work. Well that’s the case for aircraft as a delay of up to 15 minutes is classified as on time. Punctuality (used in the loosest of terms) at UK airports is down for both scheduled and charter flights for the quarter April to June 2007 compared to the same period in 2006. Only 68% of scheduled flight operated (sort of) in time down from 72% last year. The figure is worse for charter flights with only 67% being punctual, down from 69% in 2006.
