How could the Sunday Times not include my travel business Europe a la Carte, in their Top 10 travel websites? There’s nothing too inspirational in their choice and they do include their own travel website, which is a bit cheeky. Their rationale for the choice is that with 12,000 travel sites aimed at UK consumers, you could be faced with a bewildering choice. If you want to keep things simple they reckon their top 10 will fulfil most of your travel needs.
Seriously, I know that I operate in a niche market. Some travellers will enjoy ploughing through lots of sites to plan a trip to their specific requirements, others just can’t be bothered.
Personally I use two of the top ten regulary, Laterooms.com for booking accommodation and Multimap.co.uk for route planning. How would you rate the Sunday Times Top 10?
