I see that there are no European airlines in the overall top 5 Skytrax World Airline Awards.
1 Singapore Airlines
2 Thai Airways
3 Cathay Pacific
4 Qatar Airways
5 Quantas
British Airways was ranked 10th in the overall popularity stakes but was number 1 in Europe and also voted the best transatlantic carrier. The best budget European budget airline was Air Berlin followed by Easyjet.
I don’t know much about Air Berlin so I had a look at their website. Most of their flight from the regional airports of Belfast, Glasgow and Manchester are to Germany. However there is a wider choice of destinations from London. Have you flown with Air Berlin, how was your experience?
