The cheapflights.co.uk website has some very useful tables with information about the policies of various airlines for delayed baggage and baggage allowances.
It’s not something I would consider before booking a flight but it amazing to see the differences between the airlines. I generally look at the departure and arrival airport and price but I think this information about baggage allowances might influence my decision for short trip where I only wanted to take hand luggage.
