No, this is not one of my typo errors but a very appropriate name for holidays where bookers pick the elements of their holiday separately rather than the traditional package holiday where they purchase the complete holiday.

It’s one of those phrases that you ask yourself why didn’t I think of that?  When I started my travel business in 2002 my straplines was ” something different to the traditional package holiday”.   I could see that the more people would put together their own holidays, booking their flight, accommodation and car hire on the internet in order to build a holiday to fit their exact requirements, often at a lower overall price.  How much better if I’d come up with “take a pickage not a package with Europe a la Carte!”
