Delays at UK airports

I’ve read about possible delays at UK airports. Immigration officials report that it’s taking more than twice as long to scan the the passports of travellers arriving in the UK. due to the installation of new equipment. New rules for entering Spain require that Spanish authorities are given full details of all passengers before the plane can take off for Spain.

Have you been caught up in delays due to either of these changes?
