Rolls Royce Silver Ghost Centenary
Welcome to my blog, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!
By coincidence several of the cars taking place in this event were parked at Inverewe Garden during our visit to the gardens on Wednesday 6 June. I’m sure that some car enthusiasts would have loved to see these cars at such close quarters but I’m not really into cars of any age but they were impressive grand old cars.

It was good to meet you and your husband. We too saw lots of those cars on the single track roads between Lochinver and Durness and I can’t believe the size of them - its a wonder they managed to navigate the sharp bends of Assynt.

We were happy to meet you too Kyle. These cars were amazing, I don’t know how they made it round the bends on the narrow single track roads between the length of the cars and without power steering.

I’ve always enjoyed admiring classic Rolls Royce. Truly beautiful, flawless and remarkable.

Sounds like you would have appreciated seeing all these cars, Johnny, I watched one of the cars start up and between the size of the car and the lack of power steering it was pretty difficult to manoeuvre out of the car park. How they managed on the single track roads with hair pin bends I don’t know, it was difficult enough in a supermini!

I just love a cool classic car like a convertible Cutlass. I see them all the time in movies and TV now.
