Inverewe Gardens, Scottish Highlands

Welcome to my blog, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

Inverewe Gardens on the west coast of the Scottish Highlands are said to be on the of the world’s greatest gardens. They are certainly in a wonderful location on the banks of Loch Ewe. The photos below are of the walled garden but there are also many woodland paths. As an added bonus there were several Rolls Royces taking part in a centenary run parked at the gardens during our visit.

Did you go to Applecross and then over the hill of Ben Gorm?

No we didn’t go to Applecross. We already felt that we spend enough time in the car especially as the weather was hot, it was surprising how long trips took even on the “main” roads.
