The 4 star Crowne Plaza Hotel in the city centre of Nottingham has doubles at the promotional rate of £69 per night. I’ve only visited Nottingham once but enjoyed my stay. We went to the castle where there is a museum and Tales of Robin Hood.

Glasgow is a great destination for a short break. The Arthouse Hotel is in the heart of the city centre. close to shops, nighlife and restaurants. Glasgow had many world renowned museums including the newly refurbished Kelvingrove Musuem.
