Portobello Beach Edinburgh

I was in Portobello, Edinburgh’s seaside on Saturday afternoon. I have to admit it was really windy and cold but the light and the colours were fantastic around 5pm when I took these photos.

I could see over to the hills in Fife.

I think that it is easy to forget that Edinburgh is a coastal city but if you are in Edinburgh you should try to visit Portobello Beach . There are several bus routes which travel from the city centre directly to Portobello.

   Hello!
   I am Looking for a fish and chips place where I can feed my 23 students with whom I am going to visit Portobello Beach on Sunday 10 June. Maybe you could recomend me one.

   Reina I have never eaten fish and chips in Portobello but I will try to find our about this for you.
