A conference today in Peterhead, northern Scotland acknowledges the completion of a four year project to create 4000 kms of footpaths on the North Sea Trail around the coast in several countries. I’ve noticied white signs with a squiggly blue N going up in Berwick upon Tweed, my hometown, over the last few days. The NST website is pretty good with information about public transport, interactive maps etc.
