Getting high on bank notes in Ireland

Welcome to my blog, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I was amazed to read that one hundred percent of bank notes in Ireland were discovered to contain traces of cocaine. The traces varied in concentration with high levels on some notes suggested they had been used to snort cocaine. Research in Spain found that 94% of bank notes contained traces of the drug.

So now you know why spending cash may give you an additional high!

In that presumably 100% of people in Ireland don’t take cocaine, it’s quite an interesting statistics as to the circulation of bank notes these days.

What surprises me is that there doesn’t appear to be nearly that level of circulation of coinage, or at least not internationally. Although we’re right on the Spanish border we get very few Spanish euro coins in change.

Oh, if you’re ever in India, it’s 100% of the notes with very easily sniffable traces of curry!
