Sea Plane Service from Glasgow

Welcome to my blog, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

A new sea plane service will commence from Glasgow to the peninsulas and islands on the west coast of Scotland.  The sea planes will use the River Clyde as a runway.  It sounds a great idea to be able to reach these destinations directly from Glasgow, rather than having to either undertake a  long way drive or get out to one of the ferry port where the crossing may take several hours.  However tickets will cost between £110 and £185 and the service won’t run during Winter. Therefore I would judge that it will be a service for well heeled but pressed for time passengers.
