An online poll of parents has revealed that almost half of parents would like to get away to the beach for some festive sun. Around one third of parents said they prefer to stay at home and 19% would like to hit the ski slopes.

I wonder how many will be able to afford to take a holiday, sun or snow, due to the high prices around this peak holiday time? Therefore staying at home may not be your first choice but it may be the only viable option.
