Gothenburg, Sweden: A Great Short Break Destination

Contrary to popular belief a break to Sweden need not break the bank. I think that Gothenburg is a great city for a short break. It is easy and cheap to reach with Ryanair. There’s loads to do and see and it is a really beautiful, clean and vibrant city. All the Swedes I met were very charming and helpful and I felt safe walking around in the dark on my own. I wish that more cities were like that. Last time I was in London, it was filthy and the streets were full of beggars and hustlers and I didn’t feel safe walking around during the daylight! I would like to visit Stockholm and looking at the photos on your blog, Stockholm is absolutely beautiful. I liked your blog too, a novel idea, show cast members writing a group blog.
It’s not true what em’s saying, Stockholm is probably more beautiful than Gothenburg but the people are a lot nicer in Gothenburg.
I’m sure that Stockholm is very beautiful and I hope to visit it some day. I did really like Gothenburg and the people were all very friendly (and spoke English very well.)
