Well here I am the exponent of seeing the real Europe and getting off the beaten track departing on a one week package holiday to Tenerife tomorrow! My defence, some sunshine to break up the dismal UK Winter and avoiding the temptation of the holiday ending up as a business trip. Much as I love working in my travel business I feel that I need to get away from it sometimes and have a holiday with my husband.
I think it is true to say that sometimes you may just want to take a package holiday in the sun.

I am back from my weeks holiday in sunny Tenerife which I really enjoyed. It was hotter then I expected, around 26 degrees, especially as we were staying in Puerto de la Cruz in the north, which is usually cloudier and cooler.
