Guide to Vicenza

I have just finished my guide to Vicenza. Vicenza is a beautiful small city in northern Italy, Vicenza is also know as the city of Palladio, as the famous architect designed many buildings in the city. Although it is such a lovely and interesting city it is not very well known in the UK.
Why do so many tourists only visit the best known cities in a country, when there are so many other places to visit?
I agree Vicenza is well worth a visit and less than an hour by train from Venice!!
Palladio’s Teatro Olimpico is well worth a visit with its permanent stage set from the first performance of 1585. Wonderful trompe l’oeil stret scenes. Wierd to walk on stage and find the streets diminish away behind you.
