Airport Parking

I usually find that I end up needing to take my car to the airport. When I lived in Scotland and was flying a lot from Glasgow Prestwick I found that although you could obtain half price, or for the first few months of a new route free, rail travel to Prestwick, the flight times never permitted this. Either I had to be at the airport so early, e.g. 5:30am, or my flight arrived back too late to ensure I could get back home. In fact a couple of times I paid more to park the car than I had paid for my return flight with Ryanair!

It is a similar story now that Newcastle is my nearest airport. The trains to Newcastle from where I live start around 6am in the morning and the last one back is around 9pm.

Most airports in the UK have several car parts nearby. It is amazing how much the price can vary between the different car parks. I find that the best way to get the cheapest price is to use a price comparison site.
